HealthNet of Janesville serves the ever increasing need for primary health care to the uninsured and low-income residents of Rock County, Wisconsin. We operate from our clinic location at 23 West Milwaukee Street, in downtown Janesville. Our clinic is located on a bus route of the Janesville Transit System. There is a bus connection jointly operated by the Janesville and Beloit Transit systems available to serve patients residing in Beloit.

Our Volunteers

HealthNet volunteers donated close to 7,500 hours of service work in 2007-2008! We would not be able to provide the quality service without the help of our volunteers. Volunteers are truly the heart of HealthNet.

About the Uninsured

Myth:	Fact:
Those who are uninsured are people who do not have jobs.	It is estimated that 8 out of every 10 individuals without insurance are in working families.
The Majority of the uninsured are minorities in the U.S.	Approximately three-fourths of the uninsured are Non-Hispanic whites.
Health insurance isn't really important.	According to the Institute of Medicine, 18,000 Americans die every year of preventable and/or treatable diseases because they are uninsured.
The uninsured have been and are always uninsured.	It could be you! Hundreds and thousands of individuals in America loose coverage over the course of one year and then regain it again after being uninsured for a relatively short period of time.

New Dental Clinic
HealthNet opened a new free dental clinic for HealthNet patients.

Patients requesting services must be eligible. To be eligible you must live in Rock County, be completely uninsured, receiving no Medical Assistance or Medicare, and meet certain income guidelines. Please call (608) 756-4638 to enroll. If you are an existing patient at HealthNet you can call the dental clinic directly to schedule an appointment at (608) 531-0464.

Dental Clinic Hours:
Monday 8 - Noon
Wednesday 8- Noon
Friday 8- Noon
Some Friday afternoon and Thursday morning appointments are available.
